Our Farm Talks begin on 11th June this year.
We are inviting you to come and learn about the unique way of farming that shapes The Lake District Fells in our traditional Lakeland stone bank barn. The talk will last approximately an hour and will cover all sorts of topics, followed by any questions you may have. We encourage adults with all thoughts on farming for this educational talk.
Topics covered are:
- The farming year
- The breeds of sheep we have
- Environmental Factors
- Climate Change
- The future of farming
- Question time
£10 per person including a sweet treat and hot drink
PLEASE NOTE:
This talk is not suitable for children under 16. Please be aware there is a small steep ramp to access the barn
