Our little barn now opens up as a coffee shop selling gifts and essentials. We now offer speciality hot drinks, along with locally made Borrowdale tea bread, served with a slice of cheese, along with scones and other sweet treats. Staying on the campsite? … Grab a coffee and a croissant to sit in or takeaway.
We have picnic benches for you to sit and have an ice cream on, whilst looking at the stunning views or inside in our seating barn, watching the swallows fly in and out … you may even get a visit from Dorothy the cheeky chicken!
We also sell a few campsite essentials, such as logs, kindling, tent pegs and repair tape. Other items include our free range eggs, postcards, snacks, marshmallows, toothpaste and much more. We are also selling our homemade craft products, made by Ruby and her Mum, plus locally made gifts such as candles, mountain badges, sauces and jams.
You can also bring your phone to be charged within the shop opening hours, but we do have limited availability for this, one phone at a time with a charge of £2 for half an hour.
